STORY

What is a "good" photo? Is it the color or lack of color? Maybe it's the composition or even the sharpness of it. Could it be the use of light on the subject that is in the frame? These are some of the questions I tell myself before I push that shutter button, but these are only words that make up the quality of a good photo.

What is a great photo? A great photo is its story. A story that puts value into that moment in time, in which makes it meaningful for the photographer or the eyes of the viewer.

I might be young for some and old for others, but in my life, I have learned everything has a story: every rock, every tree, every piece of litter on the ground. We write books, make movies, sing songs because we all have a story to tell.

This photo may not be the sharpness photo in the world, but it does have a story.

You don't need the best camera in the world, or even years of practice to make a great photo. All you need is a story to tell.
